Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Good game for just PS2 Comment: I only have a PS2, and haven't owned a game in the series for several years. Good game.
Customer Rating: Summary: Basically the same every year, but still does the job Comment: No really big changes from the last couple of years, but always a fun game. It is a little more challenging having to use the joystick to juke instead of r1 and r2 but after killing every opponent during a 9 year dynasty...you need a new challenge. The new camera angle for returning punts and kickoffs pretty much sucks in the beginning but you get used to it. Pretty good game overall.
Customer Rating: Summary: better luck next year Comment: NCAA Football 09 is a good game, but if you have the 08 version of this game you should probably skip it. This game is really fun, but it seems that EA Sports has not changed much at all. From the music, the title screen, the campus legend feature, and much more none of that has changed at all. In conclusion, if you have the 2008 version I would highley suggest to skip this year and hope for the best in 2010, but if you don't have 08 I would get it because even though this game is way to similar to the previous version it is still fun.
Customer Rating: Summary: Replay Comment: This game is just a instant replay. Played on a friend's system...so it didnt cost me a thing. NCAA 2004 is better...so that says something about this next gen game. Anyway...if you keep purchasing this trash at retail...then EA will continue to put it out. Got my copy of Madden 2007 for $3. I'll wait til the price falls on this one too.
Customer Rating: Summary: Can you say 2008 NCAA Football? Comment: WTF? Its no better than 2008 which imo is the best game. Save your money and get 2008 NCAA Football. 09 is not even and upgrade - its the same game play.
