Summary: great game- controller worked great!!
Comment: first of all the guitar--ok, I don't want to jinx it. i read the bad reviews about the controller, but mine couldn't be working better. (knock on wood)- it works all over my living room so i can jam out. also, some people said the star button was hard to hit--that's such bs. it's right below the strum, so if you can't hit that, well then just give up on this game. assembly was easy to figure out-i'm a 24 yr old grad student, so make your own assumptions ;)
next--the game is great. so many great songs and a wonderful variety. some people complained about the "bosses" but I think it's because they can't beat them. It's actually a lot of fun and a different new fun way to play. how cool is it to be a better guitarist than slash??!!? so many things to unlock too. i just can't say enough good things.
lastly- i was nervous about the price at first, but feller amazon shopper, you have found the best deal out there. snatch it up!

Comment: Guitar Hero 3 is a great game. All the songs are sweet! The best part about the game are the battles. If you love the second Guitar Hero, you love this one. One of the songs called "Through the Fire and Flames" is a real challenge on expert. So as "Raining Blood".

Comment: I bought this for my 14 year old who is 6' 1" and 175lbs. I was concerned that he would break it after I read several of the reviews but the guitar is holding up just fine and I've heard no complaints from him. So he's happy, I'm happy!!! :^)

Summary: Surprised with the fun!
Comment: So I bought this for my significant other and decided to set it up for him to make simple for him to just sit down and play. However, I thought I should try it out, now I"m addicted! Once you figure out how to play it, it really it fun! I am totally not a video game geek, or guitar player, but keep itchin' to play it again!!

Comment: I think guitar hero is a great game. I think it is interactive and gets the player out of his or her seat. I think it enhances a person's hand-eye coordination. I also believe guitar hero is a great group game, much like the Wii is. Guitar Hero is good for any age group. And Guitar Hero III especially has some GREAT songs and artists. I give this game 5 stars, but this package and it's wireless guitar are terrible. I only had this guitar and receiever for 3 days and it suddenly stopped working. I've had to wait 3 weeks for a replacement. I do NOT recommend the wireless components. PS2 isn't ready for that yet, obviously.
