Comment: I bought this extended life battery on Amazon.com because my OEM battery that came with the phone was losing charge constantly after two years of normal use. I used to have to charge my original battery every couple days, but now I can go at least 4 days without charging the new extended battery with normal use. I only use my phone a few times a day, so I may not be using up as much power as some other people who make a lot of calls daily, but I suspect that people who heavily use their phone will get a solid three days of use before charging. The price on Amazon for this battery cannot be beat! I strongly suggest buying this battery if you have a LG VX8300, which is a very popular phone.

Summary: larger cell battery
Comment: My LG cell battery started to die so when I was looking for a replacement I found out there were a few "sizes" to choose from. Some are different in physical size, needing a new battery door, while others are different in the amount of energy stored. This particular battery is larger on both counts. The supplied battery door fit well and the physical difference in size hasnt been noticable. The amount of time between charges has made a great difference. I've only had this for a week or so but I can now go days between charges.

Note: New battery door is not flush with back of phone and may become unlatched with use. Not a big issue, but I almost mine twice.

Summary: For less than $30 its a steal
Comment: As advertized this will give you a 50-60% increase in battery life. I got 3-4 hours of talk time with the standard battery. I now get 5-6 hours. I usually am on my phone around 60-90 minutes a day meaning I usually have to charge it every other day with the standard battery. Now I can go three days on a full charge and still have 2 battery bars left [that's with the aforementioned 60-90 minutes per day of usage.
